Nile Egyptian Schools (NES)
NES is for students from age 4-18, generally from a middle-class background .Parents will pay fees that will cover the operational costs ,but up to 20% of the student body is expected to be eligible to receive financial aid from the state. The schools will be either two-class or three-class entry ,with either 700 or 1050 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Students will graduate in grade 12 with a certificate recording achievement grades in up to eight subjects, based on high –stakes examinations which will be set and marked by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) in the first instance. These curriculum-based examinations will be benchmarked to CIE's International standards at 18+ and the intention is to gain recognition for the certification so that NES students will be eligible to apply Egyptian universities, as well as to universities internationally.
Nile Egyptian Schools (NES) are Egyptian international schools established by state funding funds, which began its activities in 2010 to provide an international educational service for low annual fees compared to international private schools. The school is managed by Egypt Educational Management Company. It is supervised by the Nile International Certificate Unit in the Education Development Fund of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers in partnership with the International Examinations Authority at the University of Cambridge, which provides technical support to schools and certifies them abroad. These schools teach Egyptian curricula in English by international standards for different stages of education.

Educational Projects Support and Funding Fund.
The company follows the Educational Projects Support and Funding Fund (affiliated to the Ministry of Education).
Objectives
The schools aim to serve the middle class, which can not enroll their children in international schools with high annual or general government fees. The education development fund provides about 20% of the places for those who can not. Schools qualify their graduates to join any international university in the current state of public education not recognized internationally. The schools also aim to provide an integrated educational system in which the student does not need private lessons that increase the financial burden on parents and the mental burden on the student, and teachers do not need them at the same time to pay them appropriate salaries.
Curriculum

The curriculum has been reviewed by Egyptian and foreign consultants.
